We believe that every boater and boat service professional in the Midwest should be able to access our directory and the information we provide without barriers.

This Accessibility Statement describes the measures we have taken to improve accessibility, the known limitations of our current implementation, and how to contact us if you encounter any barriers.

1. Our Commitment

We are committed to conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our accessibility standard. As a small, veteran-owned business, we are actively working toward full compliance. We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing effort and are committed to continuous improvement.

2. Measures We Have Taken

Find Boat Services has implemented the following accessibility measures on our Site:

3. Known Limitations

While we strive to meet accessibility standards, we acknowledge the following known limitations that we are actively working to address:

  • Some older listing content imported from third-party data sources may not yet include full accessibility markup. We are reviewing and improving this content on an ongoing basis.
  • Certain third-party widgets and plugins used on the Site — such as our mapping and payment processing tools — are provided by external vendors and may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are working with our vendors to improve compliance.
  • User-uploaded photos in business listings may not always include alt text. We are developing guidance for Merchants on how to add descriptive alt text to their listing images.

We are committed to addressing these limitations as part of our ongoing accessibility improvement efforts.
